ALLEN, Texas–Homeland HealthCare, Inc. (Homeland) announced that Chris Carpino has joined their worksite benefits division as Managing Director, Strategy, effective immediately. Chris comes to Homeland from BenefitVault where he most recently served as Chief Sales Officer.
With numerous years of experience in workplace insurance benefits solutions, Chris has held key executive level positions from Director of Market Development to Founder & CEO for several workplace employee benefits companies such as United Financial Associates, MyRewardZ, and Univers Workplace Solutions.
Homeland HealthCare, Inc. Announces a new CEO and President
Homeland HealthCare, Inc. announced that Ron Fields joined their Executive Team as CEO and President. Ron comes to Homeland from American Family Life Assurance Company (Aflac) where he began his tenure there as Market Vice President for Brokers Sales and last served as U.S. Broker Strategy Officer.
New Short Term Medical and Accident Insurance Plans Launched
ALLEN, Texas, July 8, 2015 — Affiliated Workers Association (AWA), through its exclusive third-party administrator, Homeland HealthCare, Inc., announced today the launch of two new insurance plans including an accident plan and guaranteed issue short term medical plan.

New Short Term Medical Plan Launched
ALLEN, Texas, March 24, 2015 – Affiliated Workers Association (AWA), through its exclusive third-party administrator Homeland HealthCare, Inc., launched a new short term medical plan called Preferred Choice STM, underwritten by A-rated carrier National Health Insurance Company. The new Preferred Choice STM plan is a perfect solution for individuals and families who need temporary health insurance. Whether an individual is waiting for the Marketplace to open, a new hire in a waiting period, without insurance through their employer or cannot afford COBRA, this short term medical plan provides a bridge in coverage. Preferred Choice STM is available in term lengths of 6 to 11 months, depending on the plan selected with a variety of deductible options. The plan also includes non-insured benefits, such as 24/7 telehealth and a discount prescription program to help reduce health care expenses.

Homeland HealthCare, Inc. Attended the Tornado Summit in Oklahoma City
ALLEN, Texas, March 17, 2015– Homeland attended and sponsored a booth at the Tornado Summit in Oklahoma City in February 2015, an event focused on disaster mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery in order to save lives and property in local communities. At the trade show, Homeland featured a free discount prescription program that provides savings on prescription medication for individuals, as well as employers groups wanting to offer savings to their employees to complement their existing benefit package. The booth provided great exposure for Homelands’ marketing and administrative services.
Homeland HealthCare, Inc. Had Tremendous Success during the Affordable Care Act Open Enrollment
ALLEN, Texas, March 11, 2015– Homeland HealthCare, Inc. (“Homeland”), a general agency that specializes in marketing health and wellness products to individual consumers and employer groups, had tremendous success during the Health Insurance Marketplace 2015 open enrollment period. Homeland’s subsidiary agencies enrolled over 28,000 consumers in qualified major medical plans. Homeland’s agencies successfully assisted 80% of enrollees with obtaining government subsidies to reduce their premium costs.
